The u3a is a UK-wide movement with over 1000 locally run groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun. Membership is open to anyone no longer in full time employment. Crosby u3a has around 100 members who learn and socialise through meetings, special interest groups, outings, lunches, or just meeting up for a coffee and chat.

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*** If we don't have a fully functioning Committee, our U3A might have to close! If nobody comes forward as Secretary or Treasurer at the AGM on July 13th, we have to seriously consider closing. In order to give time to try and resolve the situation, the Speaker for July has been cancelled.
🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈The 30th Anniversary celebration in June was enjoyed by 70 of our members. We were treated to a welcome glass of Prosecco, a lovely buffet by Gillions, and entertainment from Crosby Strings ukulele band. Recognition Awards were presented to 10 people for long service or group leaders or - in some cases both. There were also prizes for a Quiz and a raffle. Click here for photos of the event🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
